Funeral Arrangements
Dr Muttucumaru’s funeral will be held at Fulwood Free Methodist Church tomorrow, Friday, May 22 at 11am.
Family flowers only with donations, if desired, to North West Air Ambulance, which can be done via Ascension & Cliff Small Funerals on 01995 605548.
We would like to express once again our sincere thanks for all the messages of sympathy received since Dr Muttucumaru’s passing.
We have received so many heartfelt messages from patients and fellow NHS employees and groups which gave an indication of the deep respect and love in which he was held.
Lostock Hall Surgery, Eaves Lane Surgery and Croston Medical Centre will be closed until 2pm tomorrow as staff come together to attend the funeral.
Between 8am and 2pm, all services will continue to be provided from Buckshaw Village Surgery and Adlington Medical Centre.
All practices will reopen as normal from 2pm.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your kindness, understanding, and support during this difficult time.

All our surgeries will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday, May 25 and will reopen as normal on Tuesday, May 26.
Breast Cancer Awareness Week
This week is Breast Cancer Prevention Week and this year, Breast Cancer UK are highlighting the link between chemicals, especially EDCs, and breast cancer.
