RSV Vaccinations

Respiratory Syncytial Virus can be very serious for young people, especially babies, and the elderly and vulnerable.

The RSV vaccine is being offered to pregnant women and adults aged 75-79, including those turning 75 on or after September 1 and those who turn 80 between August 1 this year and August 31, 2025.

Any of our patients who are 28 weeks pregnant onwards or who are in those older age categories are being contacted with regard to making an appointment. If you are in one of these categories and have not been contacted, call your surgery to make an appointment.

World Mental Health Day 2024

Mental health is very important to all of us and the above takes place on Thursday, October 10.

There are a range of resources provided by the NHS and you can check out the very useful Every Mind Matters Resource at https://www.nhs.uk/every-mind-matters/ and the Better Health resource by going to this website: www.nhs.uk/better-health . If you have no internet access, please call at your surgery where you can pick up leaflets etc.

Your Weekly Patient Newsletter

For logistical reasons, there will be no patient newsletter for the next two weeks but the news update will return on Thursday, October 17.

During this period, we will advise any urgent updates for patients via our website at www.nmhealthinnovations.co.uk and via our social media channels. If you have any urgent queries, please contact the reception team at your own surgery.
