What is Hepatitis C?
Hepatitis C (or Hep C) is a virus that affects the liver. Many people don’t know they have it because it often doesn’t cause symptoms until much later.
But the good news is:
- Hep C can be cured with simple tablets
- Testing is quick, easy, and usually just a finger-prick
Who should get tested?
You should consider getting tested if:
- had dental or other medical procedures overseas - including veneers
- You’ve been in the military
- You've ever been too drunk to remember what you did
- You’ve had unsterile tattoos or piercings
- You’ve ever injected drugs or snorted cocaine
What to Expect:
- Quick test (finger-prick or small blood sample)
- Results in minutes (in most cases)
- Friendly staff who understand your privacy
- Free follow-up and treatment support if needed
Why Get Tested?
- You may not have symptoms – and Hep C can quietly damage your liver.
