Posted or Updated on 2 Feb 2023

Tomorrow, Friday, October 21, is Breast Cancer Awareness Day and we’re taking part in this national event.
One in seven women will here the words ‘you have breast cancer’ in their lives and men can get breast cancer too with one in 1,000 men being diagnosed.
Early detection saves lives for both male and female breast cancers and many are only found by checking the chest.
We have displays up on the notice boards at all our surgeries with info on symptoms and what to do if you have any of these symptoms.
Please do not hesitate to contact our reception to arrange an appointment to discuss these symptoms further with a GP.
