Welcome to the latest of our weekly newsletters. We regard it as a priority that all patients at our Adlington, Buckshaw, Croston, Eaves Lane Chorley and Lostock Hall surgeries are kept fully informed of news and developments relevant to them. We hope these updates continue to prove useful.
Annual Flu Jab and RSV Vaccination Clinics
Our vaccination programme will shortly be coming to a close but there’s still time to get your jab and we have a series of clinics coming up.
These clinics are for our registered patients only and are appointment only. Please call your surgery to make an appointment. All patients are eligible for the flu jab but only patients aged 75-80 are eligible for the RSV jab.
Please note we cannot administer both jabs at the same time and you will have to make separate appointments for each.
Dates of Clinics are as follows.

Homeless and Ukraine Appeals
In the depths of winter, the need for essential items is even greater both for our local homeless group and in the Ukraine where the situation is worsening.
We are continuing to accept toiletries, sanitary products, baby items, pet food, non-perishable food items, shoes, clean duvets, blankets, towels, coats or sleeping bags for both appeals, and you can drop them off at any of our surgeries during opening hours.
Please mark your bags if you’ve a preference for which appeal you wish them to go to.
NHS Health Checks
A reminder that all patients over 40 are entitled to be aware that we are continuing to offer free NHS health checks for this category at all sites across the group.
If you wish to proceed, please call your surgery and our reception team will book you in for the blood test and a follow up appointment for your health check with the practice nurse.
