Welcome to the latest of our weekly newsletters. We regard it as a priority that all patients at our Adlington, Buckshaw, Croston, Eaves Lane Chorley and Lostock Hall surgeries are kept fully informed of news relevant to them. We hope these updates continue to prove useful.
Christmas Opening Times
Our surgery opening times over the Christmas period are listed below. All services will be operating as normal during these opening hours.
Up to and including Wednesday, December 24: Normal opening hours.
Christmas Day and Boxing Day: Closed.
Saturday, December 27: Closed except for pre-booked appointments via our enhanced service.
Sunday, December 28: Closed.
Monday, Dec 29, Tuesday, Dec 30 and Wednesday, Dec 31: Normal opening hours.
New Year’s Day: Closed.
Friday, January 2 onwards: Normal opening hours.
Outside these times, normal procedures apply ie call 111 for all issues except for emergencies, in which case you should call 999.
We will be publishing a list of local pharmacies open over the Christmas holidays and their opening times and also a list of ordering dates for prescriptions as soon as this information become available.
Newsletter over Christmas
Please note there will be no weekly newsletter next week.
If there are any urgent news updates for patients in the days leading up to Christmas, they will be posted on our website and via our social media channels.
We will be issuing a newsletter between the Christmas and New Year holidays and this is scheduled to be published on Monday, December 29.
Christmas Jumper Day
If you visit the surgery today. Thursday, December 11, you will notice all our reception and admin staff wearing Christmas jumpers as part of the annual event to raise money for the Save the Children charity.
