From 1st April 2015, all patients in the practice have been allocated a named GP. Your named GP has overall responsibility for the care that the surgery provides to you. However, you will still be able to see any doctor who is available. You can find out who your named GP is by checking your medical records via Patient Access. We will also print on every prescription the name of your allocated GP. Over the next few months, we will verbally inform patients when they contact the surgery (either by phone or in person)
If you are over 75, you will already have been allocated a Named GP. Patient's registering in future will be informed of their Named GP during registration stages. Should you wish to change your allocated GP to another we will endeavour to accommodate this, but this may not be possible. It is important to remember that your Named GP is not the only GP you will see and is not the only GP we will ask you to see.
